Realme 2 Launch Date:
Realme 2, the successor of Realme 1 is expected to launch this August with killer specs and dual rear cameras. It also includes the fingerprint reader which Realme 1 missed.
As you may know, Oppo was a sub-brand of Oppo when it launched the first Realme 1, but now it has become a separate company. Although the service centers of Oppo will continue to serve all the Realme smartphones.
Realme 2 Specifications:
As per the leaks, the Phone will sport the same popular and powerful octa-core Mediatek Helio P60 Soc clocked at 2GHz.
The sales of Realme 1 mostly hampered due to the absence of a fingerprint reader. Which the company seems to have rectified as per the public demand and hence included a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
Dual rear-cameras have also made up to the feature list, as Realme teased a picture showing a Dual rear horizontal arrangement of cameras. This is strange as almost most of the companies are going with the vertical dual rear camera arrangement.
Realme 2 Notch display:
As we know Notch is the hottest and most followed trends in the smartphone industry in 2018. Although a majority of Tech-enthusiasts hate the Notch Design, it has been a style statement of 2018. So Realme didn’t want to be behind the race and included a notched display. And surprisingly, it has a very narrow bezel, considering it is going to be a budget phone. Although the Smartphones in the budget sector have started coming with the Notched display for the sake of it, even though it has thick bezels and a wide chin. Realme has got an upper hand in the design department here. The metallic frame and shiny back panel with triangular-cut, diamond patterns make the Realme 2 device not less than a premium phone.
Realme 2 will come with 6-inch full HD notched display.
The Realme 2 also support Dual-4G Volte support, which means you can use 2 Jio sims simultaneously.
Realme 2 Price in India:
To recall, Realme 1 launched in May 2018 at a very aggressive price. With the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant priced at Rs.8,990, 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model at Rs. 10,990, and the most popular 6GB of RAM and 128GB variant at Rs. 13,990.
With Realme 2 the expectations are very high, as the new separate Company Realme, aiming to dominate the Indian market. The prices are going to be almost same and aggressive with the top model being under the Rs. 15,000 mark.
With the prices remaining same and Realme 2 coming up with features which the Realme 1 lacked, will surely make it popular in India as it is coming in late August. The upcoming festive season will surely help in record sales.
